Payment methods we accept are pay pal transfers and money orders. Personnel checks are not accepted.
If you plan to use one of our shop coupons please send us a convo with the coupon number before you add the item to your cart. That way we can adjust the listing price instead of having to send you a revised invoice or send refunds. If this happens by mistake we are happy to work with you so that you only pay the sale price. But it will take another day or two to correct.
Please note that we will only be accepting our coupon offers until December 31, 2009.
The Dancing Dragon does not charge any kind of sales tax at the moment. Because we are a small enough business tax is negligible. However should our business expand over time and then become obligated to charge tax on our items we will note the change here and in our shop announcement. If this change should occur at a time when items are purchased the following will be put into effect. All items bought up to and on the day the tax takes affect will not be charged sales tax. All purchases after that date will be affected by the new tax. The sales tax will be noted in the message to the buyer.

To upgrade to Priority Mail:
• Agree to additional fee of $4.90
• If shipped internationally by Priority Mail; Seller will get a quote from the post office and the buyer will agree to pay the additional fee
• Revised invoice sent to buyer with adjusted total price
To ship outside of the United States
• Seller will get a quote from the post office and the buyer will agree to pay the additional fee
• All international shipping will have delivery confirmation
• We do not require insurance for international shipping but it is highly recommended and we will confirm if the buyer would prefer to have their order insured
• Revised invoice sent to buyer with adjusted total price
• Unless the buyer requests an upgrade to priority shipping, international shipping will be First Class
Full amount of payment must be received including any fees for an upgrade to priority mail or international shipping before the order will be shipped.
We will do our best to edit the listing to include any fees for the desired product so that a revised invoice does not need to be sent. However should a revised invoice need to be sent it will be sent through Pay Pal unless the buyer pays through money order, then the revised invoice will be sent via e-mail or convo depending on the communication established with the buyer.
If any problems occur with your shipped order contact The Dancing Dragon at: firstname.lastname@example.org or at http://thedancingdragon.etsy.com If your order is lost in the mail we will refund you the cost of the item but not the shipping cost. These steps will be taken after it has been confirmed by the post office that the item was not delivered and that the item was sent to the buyer's correct current mailing address. NOTE: If the buyer should fail to update their shipping address information connected with their Etsy account and/or pay pal account or another third party source which The Dancing Dragon could use to confirm the buyers address, our shop will NOT be held responsible for orders which are not received and/or lost in the mail and no refund will be received by the buyer.

Custom items will be shipped out according to the agreement between The Dancing Dragon and the buyer.
If an order needs to arrive in time for a specific event or by a certain date please let us know as soon as possible. If we are not informed of the need for an order to arrive "in time" for any occasion, The Dancing Dragon will not be at fault for the order not "arriving on time". Please remember that all orders are sent by First Class Mail (unless conditions mentioned above apply) and can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. If you would like your order to arrive in time for Christmas please place your order no later than December 15th to insure ample time for your order to be prepared, shipped and received.
Delivery/Pick Up of Custom Orders
Refunds, Exchanges and Returns
After you receive your order you have up to two weeks to let us know that you wish to make a return. For example if your order is delivered on July 1st, you have until July 15th.
When you inform The Dancing Dragon that you wish to make a return you must include the reason for the return. Some circumstances will receive a full refund excluding the cost of shipping.
In order to receive a refund the return must be because: the item arrived damaged, was lost in the mail, not the right item or there is a fault with the item when cared for properly. Please note that all art pieces do come with a care instruction sheet.
Returns that will not receive a refund: item was damaged by the buyer or another person intentionally or accidentally, if the item is lost or stolen, not cared for properly or if the items care is neglected. For instance if you buy a glass piece from us and two days later it is knocked off a table, you will not receive a refund.
A note on jewelry returns. Because jewelry is an article that you wear and therefore a hygiene issue, please contact us to work out a possible return. In general terms jewelry refunds will only receive a refund if there is a fault with the piece, such as damage during what would be considered normal wear. If you buy jewelry and then decide that it is not what you were looking for - and have worn it or it has been worn by someone else - you will not receive a refund. However each jewelry return will be considered individually and we will do our best to come to a mutually satisfactory solution.
Refunds are preferred to be in the form of shop credit or same value exchange. However if it is necessary to have a fund return please contact us.
Note On Reserving In Stock Items
The Dancing Dragon will happily reserve listings for you to purchase at a later date. However we prefer not to reserve a listing for more than a month long period of time. At least 2 weeks prior to the month deadline we will contact you before we make the listing available to the public again.
Note On Custom Orders
Custom orders are generally completed in the order in which they are received. This is a general rule since some orders will take a longer amount of time to complete than others, and the specific nature of the order may allow us to be working on more than one order at a time. For example: the hex signs we offer take between 10 and 20 days to complete. However 5 pairs of earrings can be produced in a single evening. Therefore it may happen that we are continuing to work on the hex sign while filling other less time consuming orders.
When you make your custom order with The Dancing Dragon we will let you know if we have a waiting list due to a large number of custom orders.
Please be assured that each custom order will be completed to the best of our ability in art and production quality.
Use Of Copyright Material and Watermarks
Recently we have added watermarks to our item pictures. These were added to help protect our compositions. Recently on Etsy and Ebay individuals have been copying pictures from other shops and then posting them in another shop or venue as "theirs". Items with watermarked images do not have the same mark on the item itself.
It should also be noted that no item designs, photographs, imagery, descriptions or other material produced by the artist Susan Marie may used in part or whole by any individual, company, corporation or other body without explicate signed permission of the artist Susan Marie.
